Make your customer feel like your they truly matter to you (and they really should matter because they are what keep you in business) by engaging with them. Doing this creates a win, win situation because they will know you care and you will gain an understanding of who they are and what motivates them to connect with you and in turn buy your product or service.

There are so many ways in which you can engage with your customers but here are a few things you should be doing as a matter of course:
1. Phone call catch ups
2. Social media
3. e-newsletters/blogs
4. face-to-face meetings or just popping in for a brew, etc.
